A Day in Our Lives!

OK well a lot has happened since the very first post I have posted. I know at this point I am blogging to my self which is complete fine. Because see I am probably going to ramble and not make since with this blog and that's why I created it. It doesn't have to be politely correct or proper. Isn't that great not having to worry about being organized. Well I know it will bug the shit out of some! But hey that's OK!!

I have a big challenge with one of my 5 children. The child I am talking about is my 16 year old son.He has mental illness and unfortunately he doesn't see what he is doing is wrong.Now mind you I am going to talk about today what has gone on with past week. He has a long life record of things he has done or has taken place. So keep in mind this is just a faction of what goes on in Jon's life.

 He at this time is in a Mental Hospital do to he ran away and was gone a week. So that means he didn't get his prescribed medicine. Instead he was self medicating him self with Crack Cocaine, Marijuana,Xanex,bath salts, meth etc. Unfortunately he tested positive. As a mother this is just sickening and very hard to understand since I didn't raise him to be this way. We all have skeleton's in our closets. But unfortunately his are demons at this point.

We went to court for him on January fourth and the judge told him he had to go to school, do his ISS (in school suspension),Stay after school if there was any tutoring, take his medicine, and stay with his counseling. Not to much to ask or follow. Well my son violated his court order that night. He left the house and didn't as or let us know where he was going and he didn't come back home until 3:30am.Well I let him in and he went to bed. I got him up and he got ready for school. He then got on bus and started his day with ISS. Well he left campus at 12pm and never came home.

As a mother this is the most helpless feeling in the world.To know your child is somewhere not knowing weather they are a live or dead or who knows. It is the most distraught feeling anyone should have to deal with.Maybe it is more helpless!?

Well back to the story! We didn't hear from him until Friday night mind you he had not been seen since Thursday at 12pm. When he left school.We called him in to sheriff department as missing. Because after the age of 16 they are not run aways any more. weird right.Well Jon did call on Friday at 10pm at night telling me he was in Alexandria Louisiana which is 2 hours away from us. We live in Hemphill Texas now. He said he got a ride from some kid he was hanging with. Well that was last time we heard from him until Wednesday the next week.

Well when we got home from church Jon was standing in the drive way of where we are living. We were shocked. Come to find out he was brought home by the sheriff department. But they had an emergency call so they left him. Well they came back about 9pm to make sure we were home and he was still hear. Well Jon was trying to leave again because he insisted he was not living with us and so on.Don't need to go into the gory details of all he was saying. I will say it was not nice or what any parent wants to hear.So the Sheriff Deputy talked with him for almost an hour to get him to realize he had no choice but to stay home and follow rules.

Well Jon plays a good game because he calmed down and told deputy he would follow rules and be good. Well they left and Thomas and I got all the kids settled and in bed. Well we thought he was settled. Jon left house in middle of night. We didn't know until next morning when we went to get him up to get ready for school.

We called him in to the sheriff department because as parents we are liable for doing that just in case something happens.We got a call from some guys mom letting us know that Jon showed up back there that night. We went and pickled him up. Well it all began after that.

We got Jon home he proceeded to us he is not living here. He hates us because we don't let him party or leave or do what he wants when he wants. GEE are we only parents that are this MEAN.. Really I am confused.I grew up having to earn what I would get to do. I couldn't just demand.

So he started destroying his room area. Threatening to kill us and him self or wanting us to get a gun and shoot him. It was not fun. He was also was threatening to brake Thomas nose again or shoot him etc. proceeded to tell me I wasn't his mom and he wanted me dead as well. Well he proceeded to go out the door. Thomas went after him and low and behold he is a sneaky little turd he was gone.

Well Jon came home after 20 minutes have no idea were he went. He proceed yelling at a red truck as it past the house cursing and threatening to kill the person. Thomas went out there to get him to drop his big stick and come into the house. Instead of dropping it he threw a punch at Thomas. Well Thomas grabbed him by the back of his coat and led him into the house.

That's when all hell broke out.The then turned and started punching Thomas and kicking. Well Thomas had to take him down.mind you Jon had no marks on him even with all the altercations. But Thomas did!

The sheriff department showed up. We had no idea why. But come to find out the wonderful neighbor called in our defence. Do to Jon has told them he wants us all dead. So they were scared.Well the deputy asked if we were pressing charges. Thomas was hesitant and I said well something has to be done. The Sheriff deputy said if you do not I will. Thomas had a good mark on his left side of face right by his eye and his right elbow was swollen. So we decided to press charges. After all Jon said he wanted to go to Juvy then be at home with us.

Well after they took Jon. He pleaded with judge he didn't remember what happened.Judge signed orders for them to keep him detained.Well he was threatening to kill himself if they kept him and low and behold. They put him in to into the mental hospital to get him on his regular prescribed medicine. He tested positive for cocaine and Pot.

Well the juvenile probation department called to inform us they are getting him from hospital after he is realized. we wont have to worry about getting him.Since we had to be at hospital to have him admitted. Due to him being 16 years old.

So now that you have a little bit of my week it has been very rough. I still have three other kids at home besides Jon and one on way. So if you can imagine trying to protect your other kids from their own brother is hard. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

Guess it is one way for Satan to try to make your life hell on earth. But I tell you this it is making me rely more on my Heavenly father. I tell you this is just a touch of the ice burge of crap he has put use through. But I am hopeful something is finally going to make him accountable and straighten him up! Because God is a hopeful loyal powerful being!
